  2. Sofacy APT Targeting OS X Machines with Komplex Trojan

    1. The infamous APT group “Sofacy” is now targetting Mac OSX machines with a new trojan, called “Komplex”. The “Sofacy” group was the one also behind the attack on the Democratic National Convention as well.

  4. Syrian Electronic Army Member Pleads Guilty to Hacking, Extortion

    1. Lastly, a member of the SEA has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to receive extortion proceeds and conspiracy to unlawfully access computers. Peter “Pierre” Romar faces up to 5 years in prison if convicted. Other members are still at larage and believed to be residing in Syria.
